The Sound of Music

Maria, a novice nun in 1930s Austria, is sent by her convent to become a governess to the seven Von Trapp children. Their father, a widower, raises his children with the strict discipline of a military man. Maria initially meets with hostility from the children, but her kindness, accompanied by the sound of music, soon bring joy to the whole family—while the conflict of world events threatens to bring catastrophe to both the country and the Von Trapp family.

Our show is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization.
