Drama Troupe’s production of It’s a Wonderful Life

The Highlands Latin Drama Troupe presented It’s a Wonderful Life in front of large, energetic crowds on November 8, 9, and 10 at the Spalding University Center. Over seventy students were involved in this year’s production. Teresa Boling directed the show with a talented staff of HLS faculty and students. The HLS Drama Troupe just keeps getting better with every performance!

This play is based on the short story “The Greatest Gift” (1943), written by Philip Van Doren Stern. In 1946 it was made into an American Christmas fantasy and drama film, produced and directed by Frank Capra. One of America’s favorite Christmas traditions is to relive this beloved story.
