The HLS Christmas Cantatas continue to be a favorite event within the HLS community, year after year! Under the direction of Dr. Louie Bailey, Mrs. Rhonda Hibdon, and Mrs. Jennifer Gilcreast, the HLS student choirs tell the Christmas story with Scriptures and song.

This program is one of Louisville’s hidden treasures! It just seems like yesterday that our son, Jackson, was in his very first program as a Kindergarten student 2010-2011! It was a pure joy and honor for us to hear him now as an 8th grader play the Handbells and to recite a portion of the prophecy scripture about Jesus. ALL of the students did a beautiful job and we so appreciate Dr. Bailey and the entire music staff and school staff, and the Lowe Family who jointly make this program so very special. It simply amazes me how much is accomplished in so little rehearsal time! The musical selections are timeless and rich and nothing can compare to the recitation of the Word of God. And thank you for the professional video! May God continue to bless The Highlands Latin School and families.
